Hello boys and girls,
I hope you all had a good weekend and enjoyed the good weather!
This week is book week as it is World Book Day on Thursday. There are a lot of book related activities for you to do this week (therefore for Daily English this week). Mrs Foy has recorded a video (find it in the Video Resource Centre) with information about this week. There are also videos of stories read by the teachers, some children and a special video from local author Ryan Wilson! - make sure you watch these. Thank you to Mrs Foy for working so hard to organise all the fun activities for us.
Your £1 book token is available to print below along with a picture of the £1 books available from Tesco/Asda.
Other book week activities:
Transfer - I have added some Maths revision videos and Maths revision sheets (if possible print and keep safe) to the website. These are in preparation for our practice Transfer Tests. Your parents have been informed of how we are going forward with our preparation. Packs with tests and Easter homework should be collected from school on Monday 8th March with the first test on Wednesday 10th March (I'll explain more about that next week). Keep an eye out for more revision videos and some examples of Maths type questions (video) this week.
Our live meet will be this Wednesday at 11am (NB next weeks will be a different day) and we will be sharing your favourite book characters/potatoes - please send me pictures in good time for this.
Keep up the great work children, keep sending me your work and photos, and have a good week,
Miss McKeon
