Hello Year 3 children and parents,
I hope you all had a good week last week. Just one more week to go until you are back at school! I am really looking forward to seeing you all again. We will be completing some fun activities to help you settle back into school again and reconnect with friends, alongside learning within other areas. Remember to bring your Fermanagh castle project work with you to put on display in our classroom. You will have the opportunity to show it to the others and talk about some of the facts you have learnt about your chosen castle. See the separate note for other details regarding our return to school. Thank you.
World book day is on Thursday 4th March. Lots of your Literacy activities have been linked to book week. Mrs Foy has organised lots of lovely activities for you to complete throughout the week. Listen to her video in the 'Video Resource Library,' for further details about competitions, stories and a video made for you by the local author Ryan Wilson. Thank you to Mrs Foy for all of her hard work with this. Our 'Live Meet,' on Thursday at 10am will have a 'World Book Day,' theme. I hope to read the life story of Captain Sir Tom Moore. You can show your potato character or character drawing to the others. Send me a photo of this before 6pm on Wednesday so I can put it in our 'Live Meet,' power point. If you are unable to send a photo you can just hold it up to the camera. However, please ensure you send me a photo of your potato character or drawing before 4pm on Thursday if you want to enter the competition. Winners will be announced on Friday.
Please feel free to keep sending me examples of work throughout the week or if you have any queries about any of the information given this week.
Thank you for all of your hard work and support.
It is very much appreciated.
Take care and see you soon.
