So we are now on our 'Easter Holidays'!!? I hope you have all got on well over the last 2 weeks and managed to complete the Maths and English activities. I will not be setting work for you over the holidays and you should take a break from work and do some fun activities.
Children who are doing Transfer work - you have your Easter holiday pack - try to set some time aside each day to do some of the work and hopefully you'll have it completed by the time we return to school work in 2 weeks time. I shall be uploading some short revision videos you may like to watch on the website (Video Resource Centre) next week - hopefully they'll be of some help. I'm very proud of you all for working hard and have heard good reports from your parents!!!
I have begun a video 'class novel' and will upload a new 'episode' each day. It is Running Wild by Michael Morpurgo (who else could it be??) - the video is in the Video Resource Centre and you can either read along with it or just listen to it. Imagine we are back in our classroom and it's just after lunchtime! I have never read this book before so I am looking forward to reading it too.
I would love to see some pictures of anything nice you have done over Easter or indeed of some of your work - please feel free to email me (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Finally I want to say how I miss you all and am so proud that you are all keeping up your work and hopefully doing some fun activities too. I have had a go at playing Minecraft and am going to try to master this a bit over the next few weeks.
Happy Easter to you all.
From Miss McKeon
