Week 10 08.06.20

Hello Year 3 and Year 3 parents,

I hope you are all keeping well. Thank you to so many of you for taking part in our virtual sports' day last week and for sending me photographs and videos of your efforts. You all did a wonderful job and as we await to hear winners remember it is taking part that counts!

I hope your children are continuing to try hard with home learning. Just this week and next to go! Here are a few suggestions if they are finding it difficult to keep motivated.

  • Complete spellings using practical ways instead of writing them (there is a video in the 'Video Resource Library from a previous week reminding you of what they can do)
  • Complete sections of work orally together.
  • The capacity part in maths and materials booklet are more practical so I hope you child will enjoy completing these over the week. Your child might prefer to discuss answers orally with you in their materials book rather than writing everything down and this is fine.

I have added a few new multiplication activities in Education City if you child is completing this topic in maths. Remember to click on 'My Classwork.'

I have attached an Art competition below if anyone is interested in giving this a go.

Thank you very much for all your continued support with home learning. It is very much appreciated.

Take care

Mrs Catterson
