Farewell Year 5

Still image for this video

Hello Year 5,

As I write this last message to you I am feeling very sad. It is hard to believe that we have not been together in school for 12 weeks. It has been a very strange year for us all. Last week was the end of written work (I'm sure you are all glad). I want to congratulate both you and your parents on reaching the end of our Home learning. It has been a challenge for us all, coping with technology and doing our school work at home. I am so proud at how you have all embraced it so well. Thank you for all the emails, PowerPoints, work, photos and videos you have sent to me. I loved looking at them all.

This is the last week of school and I have uploaded some fun activities that you may wish to carryout at home (these are optional). I would love some of you to try and complete the lockdown memories sheet or even design a poster of the good/bad things about lockdown. Please send these to me I will put them on the website for everyone to see.

Remember to come to school on Thursday (or Friday if you have an older sibling) to return books and collect your files and school report. Hopefully I will see some of you there.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all parents for their hard work and support over the past 3 months. I hope you all have a lovely summer break.

Mrs Foy
