Week 7 18.05.20

Hello Year 3 boys and girls and Year 3 parents,

I hope you are all keeping well and continuing to get on well with your home schooling. Thank you to many of you for sending on photographs of your child and examples of the wonderful work they have been doing. I really enjoy seeing their happy faces and fabulous work. I'm sure the boys and girls like seeing what their friends have been getting up to as well.

A few notes for week 7 home learning;

  • Friday 22nd and Monday 25th May would have been holidays in school so I have included less work in the time table this week. (I'm sure you all look forward to a well-deserved break!)
  • I have included a few more teacher videos in the 'Video Resource Centre,' to help with Maths this week.
  • This week is 'Mental Health Awareness,' week and the theme is 'Kindness.' I know you are all showing special kindness these days in so many ways. I have included a lovely audio story which explains what showing kindness means every day. I have suggested a 'kindness' craft your child might like to complete which involves sending a kindness message to a friend or the whole of our Year 3 class. Please feel free to send me photos of these and I will post them on the website. If you don't get a chance to do it this week, feel free to do it in future weeks and I will keep posting them up. I know the boys and girls are missing each other so much and it would be lovely for them to see messages from their friends in this way.

Thank you for your continued support. It is very much appreciated.

Enjoy your long weekend.

Take care
