Birds and bugs
We read ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’ story and had lots of fun retelling the story with the props in the tuff tray. In this book we learned about the lifecycle of a butterfly and then made it using play dough. We also made our own caterpillars by printing and using the wooden shapes and cogs. We found lots of other bugs to explore in our Wildlife area.
We made bird houses with Lego and using wooden blocks in the tuff tray. We also made bird food rings to hang on our trees to feed at the birds at home.
