Little Red Hen play

After Reading the story ‘The Little Red Hen’ we made the characters from the story using paper plates. Using Lego we built mills that could actually rotate. We set up our own Bakery and enjoyed buying and selling treats. We put on puppet shows of the story and took on the different roles. In the sand, we baked buns and cakes. We re-enacted the way in which Little Red Hen made wheat on our own farm.
