Birds and bugs play

We enjoyed retelling the story of 'The Hungry Caterpillar' in our puppet theatre. We made bug fossils with play dough and designed habitats for bugs with Lego. We all made lovely, colourful birds with a moving wing at the art table. Some children used non-fiction books to make fact sheets about birds at the writing table.
