Outdoor measuring

We had a lovely morning outside in the crisp autumn sunshine.  Today we had fun measuring using a ruler, metre stick and measuring tape.  We had to think carefully to decide which piece of equipment to use when measuring various items.  We know that there are 100cm in 1 metre.
